Well, would you go if we tell you that Star Cruises is offering a visa-free cruise from Manila in the Philippines to Japan and Taiwan? Well, that’s absolutely true.
The cruising company announced on January 15th, 2018, will offer a total of 18 themed-cruises from Manila to Ishigaki in Okinawa, Japan, and Keelung in Taiwan and back to Manila Naha in Japan and Keelung in Taiwan. Michael Goh, the company’s senior vice president, international sales announced in a press release. The cruises will begin in March and will include a total of 18 trips. The cruisines are going to be affordable especially to families of Filipino who can travel visa-free to Japan and Taiwan. These trips are planned especially for Filipinos as they have visa-free access to the two Asian countries. It makes everything so much more convenient.

So if you are a Filipino, plan a cruise vacation for your family in between March 5th to May 29th. Michael Goh said that the Philippines is very important to his company. They are an Asian company, and they will promote their business here since they can see the potential. Like mentioned before, the cruises are going to be themed. The first one starting on March 5th will have The Boyfriends and VST & Co disco groups on tour along with the tourists. There is also a Mother’s Day cruise, Labor Day Weekend cruise, and Free Kids Cruise for kids below the age of 12 years.
Almost 40 percent of the cruising company’s staff are Filipinos. Most of them are working for them for almost 25 years. Hosting affordable cruises for them is also a way to give back to their community.
