Women who are more than 25 years of age can enter Saudi Arabia using the tourism visa without being accompanied by family. Saudi Arabia is an Arab nation and has strong Islamic faith, probably the reason why they make such a rule in the first place. Omar Al Mubarak, director general of licensing, Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, said the tourist visa will be a single-entry visa only. It will be valid for up to 30 days. You can use it to visit the Kingdom for work, leisure, or Umrah.
Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, president, Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, confirmed in a press release that the government has fulfilled all requirements for the travel visa and are ready to accept its first recipient. He said they are currently developing the electronic travel visa website and will be coordinating with National Information Centre and the Foreign Ministry for it. The Arab country has been entirely dependent on oil resources for its economy until now.
They want to decrease their dependency on oil resources and promote tourism. In January 2018, the Kingdom will issue its first ever travel visa. Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman leads Saudi Arabia’s ambitious tourism projects. The country plans to erect hotel complexes to attract tourists from all over the world. Saudi Arabia has great religious and cultural significance. They want the world to see more than Makkah and Medina, and the Kingdom can’t wait to show all the places to them.
The Red Sea
The Crown Prince has titled the hotel complex as The Red Sea. It will build across a lagoon with 50 islands. It will be at the peak of luxury and a model every country will get inspired by this. The project is expected to finish by 2022.
