Rules of Employment schemes
Waiting for the green card in the US is a significant challenge faced by foreign citizens, especially the Indian Doctors. Recently, the Department of Homeland Security announced that the rules of employment scheme which was implemented during Obama’s tenure would be changed. The H-1B visa holders’ spouses were allowed to work legally in the country under the employment program. However, if the program is changed, above 90000 individuals will be affected, including Indian women who are highly educated.
