India gets lion share of H1B visas

The US Ambassador to India Richard Verma said that, despite visa fee hike India takes the maximum share of H-1B visas.

Speaking at the event of Cop21 to Reality, he said that India received 70 percent of H-1B visas, and maximum of L-1 visa fee. United States understands visa fee concern of the Indian companies, consultation process is underway. There is increase in number of visas issued to Indian Students.

Under national health act 9/11, the United States imposed special visa fees on H-1B and L1 visa categories. This significant move really helped Indian companies.
