The Province of Saskatchewan has added 13 new professions to the list of jobs mentioned in the In-demand Occupations for Saskatchewan. Of the 13 new professions listed, the Interactive Media Developers and Computer Programmers have been included.
Two subcategories in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program; the Occupation In-demand and the Express Entry sub-categories demand that applicants must have had work experience in the occupations in the In-demand Occupations for the Province.
The sub-categories do not require an offer of employment.
Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program allows provinces and territories that are involved in the program to select a specific number of prospective economic immigrants to be nominated for permanent residence in Canada.
These selected candidates are usually at the advantage because they receive 600 additional points in their Comprehensive Ranking Score, thus assuring them of a spot on the list of those who are invited to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada.
The Saskatchewan Provincial Nomination is not restricted to Candidates in the Express Entry pool but is also open to those in the Occupation In-demand sub-category.
