The Ontario’s Masters Graduate Stream which was just opened on the 5th of March, after a long time of being inactive, had a technical fault and as such only 333 candidates were able to complete their registration. This statement was confirmed by the OINP (Ontario’s Immigration Nominee Programme) on Tuesday, the 19th of March.
The OINP had the initial goal of enrolling 1000 candidates during its opening held on the 5th of March. However, it mentioned that it would resume the registrations once the technical fault has been handled.
One of the major reasons why the crash was entirely frustrating and unwelcome was because applicants had waited for almost a year for the Masters Graduate Stream to be open, and when it finally surfaced on the 5th of March, applicants were once again sent to the bench as they have been asked to be patient for the stream to be fixed.
Eligibility Requirements for the Masters Graduate Stream
The Masters Graduate Stream accepts applications from International graduates who have an eligible Masters degree in a certified University in the province of Ontario.
The stream does not need applicants to have a job offer to be qualified for a recommendation for the Canadian permanent residence.
Registrations for the Masters Graduate Stream are received orderly, without any reservations. Applications are accepted on the basis of first-come, first-served; in that the earliest applications are being considered before the later ones.
The competition rate in this stream is usually at top gear, and it’s such that the stream completes its quota within an hour or two of opening.
