Nova Scotia is the recent maritime province in Canada to report a clear increase in immigration in 2019. Both Newfoundland & Labrador and federal government numbers reveal that as of now in the year 2019 Nova Scotia has welcomed 3,393 recent permanent residents.

The figure relates to the 2,965 immigrants welcomed at the corresponding point in the previous year 2018. Lena Diab, Immigration Minister, explained that the development is truly incredible.
