Australian start-ups and companies will have modernized access to the best and most eminent talent from around the globe with the prolongation of the program Global Talent Employer-Sponsored (G.T.E.S), previously known as the Global Talent Scheme.
Following a victorious pilot in the previous fiscal year, the Minister for Citizenship, Immigration, Multicultural Affairs, and Migrant Services, David Coleman has produced the Global Talent Employer Sponsored as an ongoing program.
The pilot showed the Global Talent Employer Sponsored program has excellent support from the industry and emphasized the benefits on the economy of Australia by hiring abroad talent directly to companies in Australia, said by Mr. Coleman, Australian Immigration Minister.
These highly-skilled talented international workers will get special skills and knowledge with them that knowledge and skills transfer supports Australian companies and also enabling them to create more jobs for Australian citizens and permanent residents.
Minister for Science and Technology, Industry Karen Andrews announced that making the Global Talent program permanent would definitely support the tech sector to grow in a positive way.
This Global Talent program will give Australian tech companies with the skilled workers they require to be able to run the business successfully in Australia and to grow, which will, in turn, provide to the Australian economy and produce more jobs for Australian citizens and permanent residents, Minister Andrews said.
